As promised I’m going to get back to a weekly post to go over weekly progress.
Last week I don’t have to much to report on and the only time I was able to walk was with my mother at the beautiful Des Peres Park we did 5 miles together. However, it was a new milestone for me because I did raise the amount of weight in my backpack to about 25 pounds. The extra weight on my backpack I could defiantly tell a bigger strain on my back but I talked to my trainer and he said for me to work on my posture and keep doing what I’m doing and it should improve. I was able to make it to the gym twice and work on mostly upper body it was quite encouraging when I asked our trainer if he can notice any difference in only the month that I have been going and he said that physically he cant see much of a difference but he can tell that I’m lifting more weight and my stamina is night and day from when I started. Tomorrow when I actually post I will be weighed and get the amount of body fat that I currently am at.
Getting the compliments recently from both my Dr. who can tell I’m getting healthier and my trainer who can tell I’m getting stronger have been a great boost on my psyche. In the past times where I have successfully lost weight the only thing to quantify the progress were the numbers on the scale. To receive those positive remarks add a different type of satisfaction as well as regret in past decision. Once I saw that I was closer to 350 pounds than 300 pounds and got blood work that had terrible reviews on my liver, cholesterol, and high blood sugar, I knew that I needed to make a change or risk rotting away and killing myself on the inside by potentially becoming diabetic, potentially getting a fatty liver which I got an ultrasound for, and putting nothing but crap in me and risking heart failure.
With all the recent successes and good news as opposed to failures I can tell that I am happier and getting the compliments really keep me going because again its not just the weight but so much more.
On another note I wasn’t able to make it to a big walk this weekend because I had distinct honor and privilege in being a groomsman in the newly Mr. and Mrs. Jonathon Haller wedding this weekend and although I still did get my workout in by tearing up the dance floor but it may not have been the healthiest weekend in the world however I wouldn’t change it in a heartbeat. I know you two will read this and I am so happy for the both of you and have a blast in Italy!
It being the wedding season and the fact that I have no photos of any hikes I’m putting together two photos one taken this weekend and one taken on December 31st, 2017 I think I can see a difference but if you do let me know.

I will add the weight numbers tomorrow due this weekend I’m stalling but I want to get the body fat % number and weigh in this week but I wanted to get the pictures uploaded because I’m leaving for Florida tomorrow.
